In occasione delle prossime elezioni del Parlamento europeo, che in Italia si svolgeranno il 25 maggio 2014, i cittadini dell'Unione Europea residenti in Italia, che volessero esercitare il diritto di voto per i membri del Parlamento europeo spettanti all'Italia, devono presentare al sindaco del comune di residenza domanda di iscrizione nell'apposita lista aggiunta entro il 24 febbraio 2014.
L'istanza non deve essere presentata dai cittadini dell'Unione che siano stati già iscritti nella lista aggiunta in occasione delle precedenti elezioni europee e che non abbiano revocato tale iscrizione.
L'eventuale trasferimento di residenza in altri comuni italiani di cittadini comunitari già iscritti determina l'iscrizione d'ufficio nelle liste aggiunte del comune di nuova residenza, salvo diverse risultanze dell'istruttoria di rito. Il Ministero dell'interno ha predisposto, per agevolare gli interessati, un modulo per l'eventuale compilazione online e stampa del modello di domanda. Il modello di domanda, una volta compilato, dovrà essere completato con la firma autografa e dovrà essere inviato con raccomandata, corredato di copia fotostatica non autenticata di un documento di identità del sottoscrittore, ovvero consegnato a mano, al Sindaco del comune di residenza entro il 24 febbraio 2014.
On the occasion of the forthcoming elections to the European Parliament, which will take place in Italy May 25 2014, EU citizens resident in Italy who wish to exercise their right to vote for members of the European Parliament belonging to Italy, must submit to the mayor of the municipality of residence registration request in the added list by 24 February 2014.

The request form, once completed, will be completed with the signature and must be sent by registered letter, accompanied by non-authenticated photocopy of an identity document of the applicant, or hand-delivered to the Mayor of the municipality of residence within the February 24, 2014.
